Toke Meier Carlsen visiting professor

Toke Meier Carlsen is on a research visit at the Centre for Symmetry and Deformation from April 1 to May 31.

Toke Meier Carlsen's research takes place at the interface of operator algebra and symbolic dynamics. He is visiting the centre with the purpose of working with Søren Eilers on the classification of sofic shifts up to flow equivalence.

Toke Meier Carlsen is a professor of mathematics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). He recieved his PhD-degree from the University of Copenhagen in 2004.
